Fall Session: 9/13/2021 – 11/20/2021 10 Weeks 50 classes
Class Time: Mon-Fri 2:00pm-2:30pm ET
This interactive class is the perfect way to keep your young child learning while safe at home! We will teach the skills needed to be successful in kindergarten, while your child has fun, makes friends, and learns social skills. This learning experience will nourish the cognitive, social, sensory, social and emotional development of preschool children. Teaching is differentiated for all levels of learners. We study Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies And Social-Emotional Learning. We incorporate art, music, singing and games so learning is fun and children love class. Our literacy work includes alphabet recognition, phonetic understanding, rhyme, alliteration, letter writing, sound matching, expressive and receptive language, oral language comprehension, concepts of print, and the introduction to developmentally appropriate sight words. Math principles are taught to reinforce numbers in everyday life through numeration, ordering, measurement, place value, charts, and the concepts of currency and time. Because science teaches us to ask questions, make predictions and follow our own curiosity, our class learns about the natural world around us; weather, water, plants, animals, nutrition and recycling– giving students the lesson of caring for the planet, themselves and each other.
Your child will develop confidence and learn to love learning. Our classes are taught in a fun, caring, nurturing, and positive environment which strengthens both intellectual and social skills. Students will be prepared for formal school in every sense. Links to all the online resources will be provided daily for further practice and exploration.
