We will begin with a short video and mini lesson and then divide into teams and begin the games! There will be easy, fun, quick homework, and the more you remember the better you will do for your teammates! Students who have theater or public speaking skills will relish this class, but newcomers are also welcome! Younger students will enjoy the class as well, as we will work in pairs and in teams so they receive lots of help and support! Great practice for English Language Learners! We will finish each class with a quick debrief & review, and then an overview of the upcoming lesson and how to best prepare for it.
So come join us and walk in the feet of the Boston Tea Partiers! Debate legal cases in front of the Supreme Court! Run for office! Run a Law Office! Examine citizens’ rights and responsibilities! Learn facts about immigration and the balance of power of the three branches of government! Become media savvy! Learn ways to distinguish facts (“truth”) from fiction (“disinformation”).
