Class: Saturday 10:15am-11:15am ET, 10 weeks, 10 classes
Class description: Spelling is a crucial skill to learn, as it is used in literature as well as communication. Our class provides an introduction and overview to challenging spelling rules that can be applied in both reading and writing. This one hour class will be composed of two sections: teaching lessons through presentations followed by activities/games to increase student participation. This is a fun and interactive class.
Teacher: Ms. Helen is a Sophomore at Montgomery High School. She specializes in teaching Public Speaking, and Spelling Bee. She is interested in Global Studies and Children’s Education.
At MHS, she is Head Advertiser for the Red Cross, a volunteer program. Also, she takes part in Model UN. Outside of school, she’s a part of the Princeton Toastmasters Club and actively teach English to students abroad.
Over the years, she has developed a passion for working and teaching children in Chinese Schools and online. Beyond this, she has worked as a CIT in various summer camps, specializing in teaching public speaking and reading and comprehension.
