Winter semester: 11/27-2/18 （No class 12/25-1/7）

Class Time:  Saturday 4:00-5:30pm ET

This PUBLIC SPEAKING class is for all levels of experience; we will cover the basics of speaking well and confidently in public. We will learn voice and diction exercises, relaxation techniques and methods to boost student confidence. We will practice speaking in front of a safe and supportive small group, and use group exercises to improve. All activities are voluntary, and children will only be asked to do what they are comfortable doing, as they are gently encouraged to take new risks. Students will explore creative methods to utilize all their natural tools: bodies, voices and intellect. We will practice storytelling using simple stories, imagination, poetry and tongue twisters. Once mastered, we will move on to speeches and presentations. We will learn positive group dynamics as well as how to become an attentive, respectful audience member. This active, engaging program will culminate in a virtual recorded performance by the students, with a private youtube link for students to keep.

Policy: You get a 100% credit back to your Kooyaya’s account a week before the 1st class starts. After the class starts, a week notice is required and refund is prorated base. All refund is credited back to your Kooyaya’s account for future purchase, no expiration. For cash refund, 5% surcharge fee will be applied.

If the enrollments are less than three, Kooyaya reserves the rights to change or cancel the class. There is no refund for the missed classes. Make-up classes or online recorded videos can be provided, Kooyaya reserves the rights of final explanation. When you place an order in whole year package which includes fall, winter and spring sessions, you will get a 5% discount.
