7/6-8/6/2021 5 Weeks Tue & Thur: 7:00pm – 8:30pm Eastern Time
Debate 101A: In this fast-paced and fun introduction to public forum debate, 4-6th grade students learn debate fundamentals through games and activities, apply newfound skills in research, writing, and public speaking, and culminate in a two-day online round robin practice tournament. With small class sizes, students can expect one-on-one feedback and plenty of opportunities to flex their critical thinking abilities. This course is most appropriate for students with little to no debate experience who are looking for a challenging summer course, or considering joining a formal debating program in the fall.
